I don't see of any reason why '+Nature' wouldn't affect Healing. If we can get solid evidence of this, I'll change the guide.

I guess it's worth a shot. Having a shield + 1hander could definitely work out, but I'm just afraid the loss of power will weaken the foundation of this idea. Go for it, and report your findings! Nothing's wrong with a shield :P Make sure to get a +25 Agility weapon, though

i have a 39 twink 'tauren" druid. they were major nerfed on wotlk pre-patch.

warstomp was cut from 5 sec to 2, overall that is not a game breaker or i win button.

the top nerf was the 5% health bonus. tauren now have a 5% base health bonus. before it covered total health. many do not understand this and even blizz slipped this over 80's heads with out a challenge and excessive QQ.
base health bonus is base health as if you are unarmored. it does not include a 5% bonus from your armor items like it did before.

as for shammy this class IMO is weak compared to orc or trolls when it comes to horde
BoA gear is basically unfair gear in PVP only more experienced and main-bound players can get.

I'm one of those people who didn't realize the change -- thank you for mentioning that change.

Something tells me that that talent has an internal cooldown.

When this next patch comes out, it will be easier to test this out for the shamans that are already 19. Just run for the gear easily. If it sucks, change your spec back, put your old gear on. I'm excited as to how this turns out.

Since when does Nature spell power affect overall spell power or healing if you will? If you check your character's stat screen in the game you will notice that the nature spell power is not added into your overall spell power, but rather for nature damage alone, this works solely for nature spells that have a damage mechanic, rather than a healing spell. I don't believe it has ever been anything different than that, stacking nature spell damage on shaman will not affect your healing; only regular spell power will.

Here's a link to my old old first twink which was a druid. I used to use the full fang set for running flag, this was an old school vanilla twink prior to before +25 agility to a 2 hander was even added into the game. Anyway, if you look at my spell bar it says bonus damage 6, bonus healing 6 from the set bonus, then if you scroll over the damage it says bonus nature damage +13 again from the set bonus, but no where does it have that added into bonus healing.

Further evidence: http://thottbot.com/s41740. I'm surprised no one questioned this sooner, and this was a nominee winning post...

I've tried this set out and concluded it just doesn't work. I had only 1 BOA though but IMO it shouldn't take all BOA's for a set to be viable.

    Anyway, I used:

    [Green Tinted Goggles]
    [Thick Bronze Necklace]
    [Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders]
    [Tumultuous Cloak] ...of the bandit
[Armor of the Fang] +100 health
    [Bristlebark Bindings] + 9 stamina
[Gloves of the Fang] +15 agility
    [Belt of the Fang]
    [Leggings of the Fang]
[Footpads of the Fang] +5 hit
    [Seal of Wrynn]
    [Simple Pearl Ring]

    [Gutterblade] +5 weapon damage
    [Redbeard Crest] +7 stam

Not all best in slot but should be enough to get a feel for it. Result:

1191 unbuffed hp, not much for a potential flag carrier, low armor compared to pally fc's and bear
    891 mana, pretty pathetic
    182 ap - real soft
    6 spell power - lol

    Essentially the issues are...
    * no attack power really, compare this to my standard warrior in normal mail twink gear plus boa shoulders, gutterblade and shield - 331 AP, 369 AP with battle shout
    * no special melee attacks - weak ap plus no special attacks = auto attacking lightweight
    * only attacks are generally spell power ones - but you have no mana = quick mana drain where you end up alive but essentially wasted space, no cc, no ap, no healing

Conclusion = not viable. I managed to take down some hunters 1 on 1 but really you're not much of a game breaker with druids as fc, dedicated healers and and much higher dps around. Stick to a SP set for dps I would say, but if you wanted to try it loaded up on BOA's be my guest.
