it is legal (in the US). people - conservatives - are trying to make it illegal. im completely for it...its the couples choice on whether or not they have the means to raise the child. why have the baby if you cant support it. adoption will prolly fuck the kid up pretty bad, no matter how good his foster parents are (if he's lucky)..theres still gotta be some trauma from never knowing your biological parents.

i especially like watching the youtube clips and stuff where people go up to the picketers and ask them basically, 'if abortion was made illegal, what would the penalty be to people who break the law....are there ever any exceptions to the law' (ex. mother will die from complications, child will die, both will die). they never have an answer b/c they havent thought that far. they just protest out of morals (read: religion) and have no solution to what would happen if abortion was made illegal or restricted. kudos to blind zealots!
