Lol a big shock for me

When i loged on today around 22.00 i found out that my 19 lock was still in stv. i decided to stay there and just do some bg's from that place. after i while i just jumped down in the arena ring to run around and suddenly i saw that the chest was still there!=) i opened it and got my first arena master.. lol i can't belive it was still there, useally there is like 4 80's fighting for it, but i got it 1 HOUR after the spawn=) thats luck

well, it might be 22:00 at your time, but the server time could be different. for example, if i'm eastern time and the server time is central, then the server will be 1 hour behind.

i thought the chest despawned after a bit of time, like 15 or 20 mins, but that's just what i've heard. never seen it despawn myself though so i've no credibility.

It despawns after 15 minutes, you must just be in a different timezone than your server.

I'm pretty sure it despawned 10 minutes on my server (Silver Hand), as part of one of the funniest battles I ever saw. Everyone for themselves, 10-person battle between several 80s and a few twinks. The battle raged on and on, and then....everyone noticed the chest was gone. I watched it dematerialize in the middle of battle, and then saw as one by one they all figured out what happened. The whole arena just stood there for a few seconds, like, where did the chest go?

Then one of the gnome twinks stabbed an 80 in the shin, someone else killed the twink, and all hell broke loose again. Way to take out their frustrations.

hmm. my local time is just 3 mins a head of the server time, so not much time difference. so probebly if no one open the chest i can stay for a while=)
