    level 1 rogue weapons

Why does my research tell me the battleworn blade and sunstrider axe is better to put proccing enchants on them and the daggers are better to use +15 agility (nonproc) enchant... if speed is ideal for more procs... shouldnt the proc enchant go on the daggers and +15 agility go on slow hitting sworda and maces?

Fiery/crus/LS proccs more if u use a slower weapon. If it had like 10% (on any wep) then you would go with the 1.5 dagger. Dagger in OH with 15 agi is probably overall best beacuse of the 1ap.

The reason why you want to put lifestealing, crusader, or fiery on a slow weapon is that they are based on procs per minute (ppm). ppm means that you will get a certain number of procs per minute if you are just auto attacking. For example, if you have fiery, which is 6 ppm(i believe), you will have fiery go off 6 time over the course of one minute while auto attacking. Say you have a dagger with attack speed of 1 attack per second. 60 seconds in a minute = 60 attacks in a minute. 6 procs/ 60 attacks = .1 proc per attack. .1 proc per attack means 10% chance per hit for fiery to hit. Now let say you are using an axe with attack speed of 1 attack per 2 seconds. 60 seconds in a minute = 30 attacks in a minute. 6 procs/ 30 attacks = .2 proc per attack. .2 proc per attack means 20% chance per hit for fiery to hit. So with just auto attacking the number of time fiery goes off should be the same. If you add in instant attacks such as sinister strike the flat 6 ppm doesnt change, but each sinister strike(SS) has a chance to cause the proc. I do not know how many sinister strikes you can do in one minute, but lets say you can do one every 5 seconds, for a total of 12 SS. For the dagger, each SS has a 10% chance to proc fiery for an extra 1.2 fiery procs, totaling 7.2 fiery procs for the fast dagger. With the slower axe, each SS has a 20% chance to proc fiery, which means an extra 2.4 fiery procs for a total of 8.4 fiery procs for the slower axe. This is why it is preferable to apply enchants with procs to slower weapons.

For the 15 agi enchant, the reason why it is applied to a fast offhand weapon is because the offhand weapon will only be doing autoattacks so you don't get any bonus for choosing a slow offhand over a fast offhand. The fast offhand is actually slightly better because it will be hitting more often, which causes spell casting to be pushed back.

On my level one twink, I am saving up to buy two battleworn thrash blades. They have a 2.4 attack speed, which is faster than the slowest BoA weapon by .4, but the procs from the thrashblade also have a chance to cause the enchant on them to proc. I will definitely be putting lifestealing on my mainhand, but for my offhand I have not yet decided between lifestealing or 15 agi. Eventually I will have both, but I dont know when that will be.

If you can afford then chants and weapons, then I suggest getting one of the 2.8 attack speed BoA weapons and putting crusader on it. Use it until crusader procs, then switch to a lifestealing or fiery weapon. The huge strength bonus from crusader will stay on even after switching weapons.

If you have any questions post them and ill try to explain it. (this explanation was kind of hurried and I didn't get a chance to go back through it to make sure it all makes sense)

    l2r stickies

    TL;DR

    If you Dual Wield:
MH = Blessed Hammer of Grace
    OH = Battleworn Thrashblade
Enchants = Fiery on both if mobs are lvl18 and lower; Agility on both if mobs are lvl19 and higher. Fiery on PvP for characters lvl22(ish) and lower

DW is more effective vs lower lvls ... once your miss chance gets over 44%, switch to SW

    http://twinkinfo.com/forums/alternat...t-ratings.html

    With no buffs or +hit:
    SW:
mobs level 21 and lower use PPM enchant
mobs level 22 and higher use Agility enchant

    DW:
mobs level 12 and lower use PPM enchant
mobs level 13 and higher use Agility enchant

    With +5 to boots:
    SW:
mobs level 28 and lower use PPM enchant
mobs level 29 and higher use Agility enchant

    DW:
mobs level 18 and lower use PPM enchant
mobs level 19 and higher use Agility enchant
