Tree druid + Healing touch spec

so i have been playing my 59 druid for fun, and i came up with a really unique pvp healing spec.

with talents + glyph, my healing touch takes 1 second to cast, with some haste (25 from gloves+neck, 33 from enchants(glove+back)), i can get it down to 0.944 sec, when i finish gearing up my druid, with good enchants i can heal 1800ish per healing touch (so little because it's glyphed for the speed!) and i can cast 24~25 of them in a row!

pros:

no need to worry about HoT being dispelled!

can still do rejuv + swiftmend, or nature's swiftness regrowth.

cons:

no HoT which is also kinda bad but that's why i spec into a lot of defensive talents...

also have to move around to wait for global cool down...but constant moving is what healers do in PVP anways.

i just wish they would fix the queue for twinks and i could test it out in BG's

btw, i can speed it up even further by taking advantage of server-client delay so technically it only takes like 0.8 seconds...(like when you mount, you can usually start moving before you finish casting)

So that's what the haste gear was going toward! Don't forget the [Arcanum of Rapidity] for your headpiece if you decide you don't want the [Lesser Arcanum of Constitution] -- I think at that point, you'd have all possible haste for your 59 druid.

i am also getting [Talisman of Ascendance] and 4 piece dungeon 2 set...

however, there is no point for me to start playing this druid seriously until they fix queue for twinks...and if i do that, i will probably drop skinning+enchanting for something like engineering+herbalism

Don't forget about the GCD. Although it's not the full 2 seconds with that haste... it's definitely not quite 0.944

There is a haste cap somewhere out there for GCD and cast time, I'm not sure 100% what it is though.

aye. i would take 1-2 points out of naturalist so you arent clipping the gcd. btw now hots are good with haste, so you may want to do a traditional spec/cast rotation. with things like Glyph of Rapid Rejuvenation - Item - World of Warcraft haste is more beneficial.
