Resto shaman pvp spec?

Hey, I have been messing around with the calculator for a resto build I liked and I never really game to a conclusion, - this is it for me.. so I am asking anyone have one they think is just awesome and works very well in arena specially and also all around pvp and in bg's. But my main focus for resto is arena and 1v1s.

I have thought of anything from 0/19/21 to 0/0/40 and all between. I got gear for high int, or high stam or high mp5 or high crit. So what you aim it for doesnt really matter to me . I thought about them all and I got some nice crit gear, but I heard our crit chance at this lvl is very low compared to high level so maybe someone dont even think it is worth going for crit when it is so rarely, but when you really spec for it and have gear for it, could be interresting .

I would say Imp GW is definitely necessary as well as improved shields in Enhance at least for Arenas. For WSG you can probably run that paticular spec or 0/0/40 would be fine as well. It feels like a lot of the points in resto are kinda lackluster than other healing specs... Imp GW/Shields in Enhance provide lots of mobility and regen.

imp shields is not worth it imo, about 15-20 more man per hit and 30-35 more light shield dmg per hit for 3 talents. rather going with thundering strikes or guardian totems, the question is just witch^^. I think I would take guardian totem because I use grounding frequently against everything except for warrs and rogues.

I would go with Guardian Totems... guess it just depends on what classes you go against more often.

yup, I am in a 0/11/29 atm, high dmg for a healer and more viability/survial, but low healing and mana reg.

I know very little about arenas, so I'll speak to the part of your question about WSG instead. I use a 0/7/33 build to get instawolf, and I put the remaining in resto. I find having Cleanse Spirit really helps in a bracket with a higher-than-normal number of warlocks. In addition, shamans aren't as strong at healing in the 49 bracket as they are in other brackets, so filling out Purification on top of Healing Way really helps me. As much as I hate the vulnerability-to-interrupts of using long heals, they are the healer shaman's greatest asset in the 49 bracket. Short heals are situationally useful but really weak in 49s, same as chain heals.

If you're willing to give up Cleanse Spirit, then I agree with Taitaih -- grab Guardian Totems. With the preponderance of casters in the 49 bracket, the reduced cooldown on your grounding totem makes a difference. That highlights a larger point -- healer shamans are weaker in healing than other healers in the bracket, so your utility becomes even more important: interrupts, purges, totems, the works. With the high burst of 49s, mitigating that burst against teammates and purging the HoTs on enemies that give your teammates the extra time to burst someone down...that's a healer shaman in 49s BGs.
