I use spider, myself, cause I do wsg almost exclusively. I tried ravager and bat. Ravager's CC is melee only and can be dodged, parried etc. When I needed to catch up to an escaping FC, it was no help at all. For some reason, it seemed my bat never had enough focus to use its stun when I really needed it. I leave bite on auto. But that does not stop my web from being able to cast whenever I need it. I never have a problem getting a web off, but the bat stun was disappointing. Plus, web is now twice the range. And 2 seconds is too short too often. I need to catch the FC and spam wingclip. That's my job. When I get there I can sic the spider on the healer.

Anyway, I think it has to be bat or spider. I still think the spider is more useful for wsg. Bat for arena though. I can see that, with the need to interrupt the healer's life or death cast. Web doesn't do that. But there are other things that do interrupt, like engineering's bombs and some horde racials.

Painaid said female draenai are the best jumpers, and he is the jump meister.

Web is utterly useless against a Druid FC (Roughly 75% of the EFC's I've encounter) and you really do need to micromanage a bat to get the best use from it. I do this by having both stun and bit macroed on my toolbar and off the autocast.

With my Wolf pet when I take him out for bursting fun, I usually use an auto cast toggle macro for bite so I can pool and dump focus as needed.

all 3 pets seem that they would work out great and i will prolly tame all three. what abouf a hyena they have tendon rip witch slows the target by a % for X amount of time??? does something like this stack with concusive shot/wingclip?? ALso what kinda base hp/mana pool should i be aiming for obviously i wanna do nice dmg but not sacrifice servivabilty? again no access to boa's.

I wouldn't suggest the Hyena because it requires melee range, is subject to avoidance, and between Conc Shot and Wing Clip, we have all the snares we need for the bracket. Also consider that a Snare does not help you escape against another class that uses snare like a Root or Stun will create the opportunity for you to do.

Mana Wise, 1k seems to do it for most people. I went with less to maximize my burst potential at the cost of mana endurance in a fight... also I was using a very mana intensive build and often ran out of mana inside of 8 rotations. This was before mana cost reductions for low levels hit though... not sure what it would be like now (Haven't had the ability to play for a while due to financial and internet availability concerns). I'd imagine though that 1k should carry on for a long time as any 19 hunter build though.

1153 HP served me well enough though... and that's considering that I run up to the things that want to hurt me rather than kiting them.
