Hard slow icy

I agree with twinky, last time I fought a rogue using icy I got eaten. Mind you, this was two years ago. Rogues may finally be ready to sacrifice some crit for time-on-target, we'll see.

While we are here, do you guys think we should put Icy on a slow weapon or pop it on a 1.4 Brackclaw or 1.5 Buzzer Blade and go to town?

Then again bro, with all cooldowns ready for use, rogues are the single most lethal class in the game, no doubt.

You only put icy on a mainhand(nothing under 2.8, unless its a shadowfang), ofhand will show little to no results as you've seen. And rogue is probably the only class that can get it to proc reliably, maybe warr but they already have a slow.

school = physical so this would make it undispellable and simliar to hamstring and wingclip. not sure how much it slows them though.

Afraid your misreading, the Physichal would apply to the enchanting of the weapon, not the proc, enchanting = phys. Otherwise it would have 5 sec casting time aswell? ^^

If by reliably you mean once a match then yes, I tried icy on a CB and it would proc maybe once a game at best. I would gladly exchange fiery for a working icy but that enchant has been broken since vanilla, blizz even aknowladged it's proc rate is prohibitive of use but doesn't seem to be in a hurry to fix it.

You'd want icy on as slow a MH as you could get and have a thrash blade OH so that the MH procs from thrash have highest chance of proccing icy, aswell as SS having a higher chance of proccing icy.

I will do some testing with this setup, but I sell think proc rate is prohibitive just from past experience

Icy is a horrible enchant with a horrible procc rate and should never be used by anyone for any reason at all, except maybe for some show-off lolset.
