travelform You ain’t got to go home, but you got to get the hell up out of here… Druids are about to be OP as hell…

In 3.2, the following changes will be made to druid movement forms:
Travel Form: Requires level 16
Flight Form: Requires level 60 (150% flight speed)
Swift Flight Form: Requires level 70

That’s sick. I already have a 19 druid for MTU, but I think I may have to roll me another now!

Edit – More info at Wowinsider shows that druids aren’t the only ones benefiting from travel changes… Hunters and Shaman too.

This includes Druid Travel Form (was level 30), Hunter Aspect of the Cheetah (or as I like to call it, Aspect of the Cheater; was level 20), and Shaman Ghost Wolf (was also level 20). Also in this post, the skull confirmed that class-specific mounts will come at the same levels as generic mounts will: Paladin and Warlock ground mounts at 20 for normal and 40 for epic, Druid Flight Form (now enhanced to 150% speed, like the other normal-speed flying mounts) at level 60, and Swift Flight Form at level 70.

Rut roh… Hunters with aspect of the cheetah… :(

Rip also posted on this big change right after I did, here’s what he had to say…

In addition to the new Mount Restriction Changes that will be implemented in the next major content patch (3.2), Blizzard has also decided to lower the level requirement to use Travel Form, Ghost Wolf, and Aspect of the Cheetah to level 16. So with all these changes such as the Blessing of Freedom nerf (during 3.1.3) and now Travel Form, Druid’s will without a doubt be the new FC of choice, with maybe shamans/hunters as a fallback?? I’m personally not to bothered by Travel Form for Druids, but Aspect of the Cheetah on a 19 Hunter? Now that’s terrifying.
