And more bad news for the 39′ers out there. The Jewelcrafting trinkets previously didn’t require Jewelcrafting, you could simply craft them and drop JC’ing to free up a profession slot, this has also been fixed:

I checked most pre-tbc and tbc enchants on the PTR. There are no level caps on them yet. The level cap on +100 hp appears to be gone as well, can anyone confirm this?

Im really upset about these nerfs. I play my twinks more then i play my main and i really enjoy it i have spent over 12,000 gold on my 11 twinks and this is some bull.

If Blizz implements the changes to suit the endgamers DESPITE the outcry and dissatisfaction of their customers, I’ll never buy a Blizzard product again.
i’ve played twinks for almost two years and had a blast, if they do ruin it for me i personally won’t disregard other blizzard products. starcraft, warcraft three, and diablo two were some great games, and i’m sure starcraft two will be great too. blizzard has always had a knack for making quality RTS’s and leveling games.
I understand, Druid; but if I was pissed off at the McDonald’s franchise, I’d stop going to Chipotle’s too, to make a statement.
If Blizzard’s customer service disregard’s my satisfaction as a customer (or more important, tries to silence my opinions in the forums) then they do not deserve my business.

Tbh, this is great however pre burning crusade twinking takes waaaay more skills than it is now you have to stack a bit spell power and stam to catch up the gear wont do it for you it wil be harder to keep yourself up

I understand the concept of reverting back to vanilla WoW twinking, but in order do so, they’d have to take away the BC weapon enchants, too.
Less stam/spell power against rogues/hunters/pallies with only slightly lowered DPS will mean casters die fast.
Getting rid of ALL BC enchants for low levels is a better solution to this piecemeal, unbalanced crap.
I’m going to be sad if these changes actually go live. Only reason I fully twinked at 39 was so rogues and paladins couldn’t kill me in the duration of one stun. I wont quit if they remove the enchants I’ll just stop playing resto druid and move on to ret paladin and start owning.
i know aaaaalot ppl´s that gona quit wow if they make this changes, will end wow as soon i seen the patch notes.

THANK YOU GOD, I am infact a twink player myself and welcome these changes with OPEN arms. Why? Well for starters I am a 2h WF shaman, so I can pretty much destroy anything givin a wf proc now, second, for the lower lvls, do you people really think a lvl 19 hunter should have 2.1k hp? really? 1.1k maybe.
lvl 19-29 bracket has HP gone mad with the BOA + glad thing and the proff lvl removal. With those sorted the only ones with 2k hp and warriors, druids and pallys and only if they stack stam > str.
Twinking is still very much alive. People with blues + agil enchants and wep enchants are still gonna roll over people.
I’ll terminate both my WOW accounts if these changes are made, time to wipe the dust off those consoles! For lack of a better analogy, Battlegrounds should be waged by soldiers using the best quality training, weaponry, and equipment available. Otherwise, governments would just send civilians into battle…I don’t understand why so many other WOW players have a problem with “battleground” twinks. Don’t bring a knife to a gun fight, yo! So once again, Blizz is going to waste the effort and time I spent to develop a toon designated for PVP battlegrounds with another “nerf.” To me, a nerf is Blizzards way of saying “we have nothing new, useful, or fun to add to our game, so we are going penalize our customers for our own lack of ingenuity!”
This proves that Blizzard is only after money. Will bring out more skill in clothies and in turn will cause a decline in skill in hunters, rogues, and paladins. If Blizzard wants balance, make it vanilla WoW. Not some nerf clothies buff already OP classes bull shit
This is a sad bit of information. If it’s money Blizzard wants, then by all means they shouldn’t change it. I believe more twinks will quit than not. I think Blizzard is getting desperate and is realizing that WoW is just like any other game, people get bored with it and are walking away from it. In all honesty, it doesn’t matter how many new dungeons they add, or what they do to make it fair for people that don’t know how to play the game…it’s all about the new technologies and much better games that are becoming available…goodbye wow, goodbye twinks, fuck you blizzard.
BoA gear is unattainable without a main, so that’s okay? justifed? yet librams and leg enchants are not. BoA shoulders are better than all in game greens and blues. caster staffs and mace, nothing in the game even comes close or available and now they are getting buffed?
my main at one time was a 39 twink rogue, she had a head libram, NC leg armor, and top notch gear. i paid players for runs. all my gold was obtained thru gathering and fishing. no main, yet i did this, and now it’s nerfed
there are BoA pvp trinkets that can’t be obtained without a 80, but that’s okay.
i have 7 players that are losing alot of work, some may have to be moved to the next bracket or deleted/rerolled. overall, i actually agree with what Blizz is doing to make the game fair…somewhat… in their minds? however BoA gear does not make it fair when nothing in the game is available or on par with many BoA items.
From where I stand Blizzard is rewarding it’s Hard Core level 80 players with BoA insta-twinks and punishing those that chose twinking as their game play style. I have 5 level 19 twinks and a level 63 main for farming and enchanting. Why is the work I put in to my twink to make it the best it can be, less of a value to Blizzard than the level 80 who is rewarded with superior items and items because they paid for the latest expansion? …or did I just answer my own question. Old school twinks don’t need to purchase the expansion to continue to play, Blizzard losses income on selling its expansions. Therefore by nerfing the Old content we now have to purchase the newest content to recreate a decent twink.

you do realize these level requirements are going to be Character level requirements, not item level. which is a good for their goal of removing the big twink items. the point of this is not to nerf twinks, but to make twinking about getting gear rather then enchants. making it more about time spent then money earned
people in blues will still crush people in greens. just poor people will not get auto stomped by rich people. the biggest this is going to nerf is hp. something like 2.5k hp in 10-19 has been alittle much, when we can’t hit anywhere near that even with twink gear.
Ok so people seem to think that this is going to make a fair playing field, however there are many flaws in the way that blizzard has approached nerfing twinks. First off let me talk about the 39 bracket home to two of my twinks. My rogue will be losing about 800 hp, putting him at about 2.3k however he will only be losing 12 AP. As a result of blizzard nerfing stam enchant yet not doing anything to damage enchants such as 15 Agil to gloves twinks will still be able to deal a higher ammount of damage than most non twinks, and all other classes will lose hp, making every BG a “who can die the most contest”. If blizzard were intent on making it even they would have to scale down everything that makes a twink better than a non twink, however they apparently do not see this and are making EVERY bracket imbalanced, with clothies walking around with 1200 HP and rogues critting for that much. So i have 2 (39) twinks, and i just put my libram on last week, lets just say i just got done cancelling my account, and im selling my characters/gold for $, im gonna roll a fat blunt and say good riddance to this game. Like someone said below me “Last Nail In The Coffin” Amen. End of an era…think i might go buy an Xbox 360 now…perfect timing since they are cheaper now too LOL.

About time I’d say.TBC ment more op twinkage to those nolife people who played x9 chars with killer gear that would just rape any enemy in low lvl BGs.It may be fun playing a 19 rogue that can dodge/miss/pary a lvl 70 for 5 min and own 10 nontwinks but it’s just plain dumb and silly on the other hand.Grow up!Saying goodbye wow for such a change probably means you got this wrong all together.Why shouldn’t playin a low lvl char require skill,the hole game in generally does.And don’t yap about *mainstream* because twinks were mainstrea since WSG/AB reward didn’t require exhalted rep to buy.Bow down to those who grinded Silverwing/Warsong rep to get their pretious dagger as opposed to bying it now after unde 10 WSg played.
I like this new change even dough I started twinking my 48 warrior not a while ago.I just love it and love the 3.1 arms so was planing to stay 1-2 weeks and enjoy my bracket.I did twink a bit my other chars when they were small,they had imba gear all the way to lvl 70 but I never bothered staying more than a week tops at every BG bracket.I will never understant people who play twinks for a life.It might be because they failed to achieve anything on their mains so they figured pumping up a small lvl with gear that others his lvl wouldn’t bother getting and wtf pwning them (skill) would count for something.Heh you’re wrong and blizz just proved that to you with this change
