When I heard about this I just couldn’t resist writing about it. If you’re active in the 19 bracket you’ll find this very interesting. Allow me to bring you guys up to speed.
”Enti’s Quenched Sword” is a grey two-handed weapon with no level requirement:
You’re probably thinking “What? this weapon sucks!”, and you’re right (you’re not). People were reporting high hits with this weapon, hits that were too high to achieve with a crappy weapon like this.
So I decided to check this weapon in the game files and I discovered something interesting; this weapon has hidden stats. Here’s a picture of the weapon’s real, but hidden stats:
This grey weapon is now one of the best two-handed weapons at 19. And because it has no level requirement, you can use it to level your warrior/paladin faster, or for your lvl 10 twink 
And before you run off to enchant this baddie; you can only enchant it with vanilla WoW enchants like Crusader. BC/Wotlk enchants don’t work.
Edit: If you’re a warrior, try and spec for rend with this sword and get the rend glyph, you can get >200 damage per tick.
I already got a few angry mails for making this public. Some want it to remain a “secret“… I have no intention to delete this post so there’s no point to mail me about it.
This is obviously a bug and it will probably get fixed. I made this public so everyone can mess around with it before it gets fixed; 600 crits and rends ticking for >200 is obviously not intended.
It took them months to fix the mining bug though, so this one might stick around for awhile, or it could easily get hotfixed in a few hours/days. There’s no way to tell.

Just tested this baby, and sweet mother of chewbacca it kicks ass. Mainly cause it makes my rend tick for 130 ever three sec. An im not even talented for it. With the glyph of rending and the talent it would do 600 dmg over 18 sec. Like the sound of that
Its pretty unreliable, it can crit for like 200 one hit, and for 500 the next. But whatever.
Didnt have to much time to test it. Only did one round in wsg (exavion gave me a /wave *heart*)
But first impression is goodie

Haha, just downed the elite 10 times, Phen & my warrior has it now, it’s neat. And yes, it’s nice versing some worthy opponents

Oh man thanks for the heads up, I farmed one of these for my warrior and 2 more to give to friends. I have ~175 per rend tick with AP gear and rend glyph/talents, can anyone explain how I could easily get >220 cause that would be amazing!

Wow this is crazy. 200 Rend ticks and imagine the burst if u get a little lucky with a crusader and a high end crit–HELLO 800!!
I am wondering if anyone has tried high level weapon enhancements on this item yet? I attempted to use a level 25 sharpening stone and it said somthing about the item being to low of a level.
a player was testing this on my realm and announce he got a 489 crit on a lvl-12 mob…..with his lvl-1
I saw it on a level 19 warrior and thought something was up
haha, I seen a few 19 warriors on my battle group with it on my rogue and i was like “hey, whats so good about that sword? im not a retard so i know it’s gotta be bugged or something” and he told me… then i went with my mage buddy and got one and i made a level 4 rend twink he has shitty gear(aside from the sword so maybe i shouldn’t call him a twink) and he beat a level 36 hunter in a duel already

Got this on my warrior (see name) and it kicks bum. 200 rend a tick is easly get. We’re currently making a new project that can counter the 2 Alliance rend-warrior twink duo with mining bug etc. thats kicking our Horde arses instead haha.
I hope by god they won’t nerf the mining bug but instead nerf this weapon. So I hope many warriors will wield it which will cause many complains. The weapon is like a nuke… which side has most nukes wins the war…

GM:I’m afraid I can not discuss the mechanics regarding this item. But it is there, because we want it to be there
I’ve had this sword on my twink for over a week and I’ve been researching it as carefully as I can. Just thought I should mention that there is NO PROOF that this sword is, in fact, doing anything that it’s not supposed to do. I am finding as many reports of GMs saying that this sword is going to be “fixed” as I am that Enti’s Quenched Sword is performing exactly as Blizzard intended.

i just made a post on 19 forums against all the ppl claiming twinking is screwed cuz of wrath, but i assumed blizzard wouldnt be dumb enough to leave this in the game…lol

Im just wondering a bit.. Since wotlk came, blizz have focused alot on the thing about lvling and making it faster for low lvls and that stuff.
Maybe this is a sword ment to leik make lvling in the 1-10ish range a bit faster or something. I mean, I made a quick warrior twink for using this sword. After going to SW and learning mining and herbalism, getting the sword in mail from main and buy some bags at AH, I went back to northshire abbey and started powerlvling it to lvl 10. Then I typed /played and was shocked… Played time total was 1 hour and 33 min! And then I had been in SW and fucking around for about 1/3 of the time :S
I dont know if that is the fastest 1-10, BUT it was ALOT faster then I would usally use.
And maybe, blizz just wants to ruin twinking liek “off the record”. But since we dont get more info than that the sword does what its intended to do, we wont know for sure whats gone happen to it. Or twinking…
Doubt it would “ruin” twinking. It would just end up like the 50s bracket is now… all one class. Still, i’m gonna have to start the farming to get my profit before blizzard finally gives in to the whiners.(and we all know they do)

This sword doesnt ruin twinking. Honestly I have encountered many warriors using it and it just involves a little strategy to defeat it. If your ranged stay ranged. If your melee keep moving. There is plenty of other items that make twinks OP other then Enti’s Quenched Sword

now requires level 70
It’s good it got fixed. That stupid weapon was retarded. 200 rend ticks=stupid. Especially from a 19 or 10 much less.
