When the servers came back up today, I decided to pop on my Akama Warlock that has 290 Mining to see if the bug was fixed. Nope.
I am torn on this, since I leveled beyond 300 mining on several of my twinks, I don’t like the bug. I rarely play the toons that have the bug. I would love to see the bug fixed faster. I know that many will disagree, but I just don’t like that people that weren’t prepared for the 3.02 now have a better buff (due to the bug) than those that were prepared. Now that they have reopened the door to 450 again, I am now working to get my guys to 450 mining too.

all u needed was 275 mining to be prepared…
but lvl 450 is 500 so 200 hp less till but hey u will have it when this gets fixed
I was afraid they might grandfather and lock us at 150 as speculated on beta. Understand, this was weeks before the patch that brought achievements and these buff was launched.
Yea they need to fix this.
I mean it took less than a day to fix the darkmoon bug, why is this taking so long?
I’ll keep mining at 290 until they fix it without shame.
So few players are taking advantage of it and they don’t really care about twinks so I doubt it’s high up on the list.
i have the bug and i agree i dont like it… now rogues with 2500 hp in full fishing gear and basically best gear… too hard to take down

It is overpowering. The gathering buffs as a whole are. The difference is T3 is a glitch and the others are intended. In a sadistic kinda way, I wouldn’t mind them knocking all 19 twinks back to 150, but I am now convinced this isn’t going to happen and have started to progress to 450. My Gnome lock on BB has 405 mining and 300 herbs now. 450/375 should be done by this weekend.
im kind of mad about all the gathering buffs in the first place… just because its like my druid was decked to the max but now im going to have to buy WoTLK to become better or equivalent to some twinks and leveling those professions are so boring!!
